Dublin Airport: delays this morning caused by the collision of 2 Ryanair planes
Ryanair - Sean MacEntee - cc

Numerous flights were suspended or delayed this morning at Dublin airport, following the accidental collision of 2 Ryanair Boeing 737s. While taxiing at slow speed along the airport runway, the wing of one aircraft collided with the tail of a second plane nearby.

The damage was minor, but would have caused a serious setback to the operation of Dublin airport. Nevertheless, Ryanair was quick to apologize for the inconvenience caused, and assured that flights would resume as normal this afternoon. In addition, further protocols will be put in place in the near future to prevent such a situation from recurring in the future.
