The Belly Buster is a Northern Irish speciality, which should delight all gourmets and the hungry, after a long day spent exploring Ireland! Whether eaten for breakfast or as a real meal, it’s always a treat!

Introducing the Belly Buster

A rich, hearty burger

The Belly Buster can be thought of as a kind of sandwich, consisting of a soda farl (a Northern Irish bread made from baking soda), and a filling of grilled bacon, mushrooms, eggs and fresh tomatoes. A sort of Irish breakfast in fact (Ulster Fry), but compressed into a sandwich!

The toppings may differ from one establishment to another, but this burger is always very nutritious and popular with Northern Irish people!

Belly Buster is most often served in pubs, local markets and sandwich shops in Northern Ireland. Expect to pay less than £4 for a proper Belly Buster.

Try it if you have a sweet tooth!
