The Guinness Storehouse, Dublin’s famous museum dedicated to Guinness beer, was Ireland’s most-visited attraction in 2019. The famous brewery attracted up to 1.7 million visitors during the year.

A pharaonic figure that makes the establishment the country’s must-visit site!

During 2019, the Guinness Storehouse also distributed over 1.1 million pints of Guinness, served 48,000 meals featuring beef or Guinness Stew (an Irish stew cooked with the famous dark beer), and distributed nearly 50,000 oysters!

Impressive figures, too, showing the real craze among visitors for Ireland’s national beer. This is a major advance for the establishment, which boasts an increase in visitors of over 32% compared to 2018.

The brewery has pulled out all the stops to boost its appeal: a gastronomic festival, a celebration of St. Patrick’s Day, and technological innovations of all kinds (it’s now possible to print your portrait on the foam of your Guinness).

Guinness Storehouse is already aiming to do even better by 2020. Not least with St. Patrick’s Day coming up, but also by creating a new premium tour of its brewery. The concept? Guinness fans can go inside the factories to see how Guinness is made. An extra visit that should win the hearts of fans! No price has yet been announced. Nevertheless, the offer is expected to appear in the first few months of the year.
