The scene took place this Thursday at Dublin airport in Ireland. A 23-year-old Irishman, obviously very late, tried to catch up with his Amsterdam-bound plane by forcing open a door and then chasing the machine across the tarmac.
The man was chasing a Ryanair plane already in motion and ready for takeoff.
The airport authorities then intervened, stopping the young Irishman. According to the police, the young man was particularly agitated when he learned that he was missing his flight. In a panic, he then decided to force a magnetic door, running across the tarmac in an attempt to catch up with his Ryanair plane, unaware of the danger.
The airport authorities rushed to intercept the passenger, before contacting the Irish police.
He has since been released, but is still being prosecuted for the damage he caused to the tarmac access door. His rather unusual attitude caused quite a stir in Ireland.
As he left the police station, he didn’t hesitate to show off his posterior to journalists…
