Ireland is definitely in the spotlight this March! After the film “In the Land of Saints and Sinners” starring Liam Neeson, freshly released on Amazon Prime, Netflix is following suit by announcing the forthcoming release of “Irish Wish”. This romantic comedy starring Lindsay Lohan will be released on March 15, 2024, for a magical escapade of love set against an Irish landscape. What a program!
In this adventure, we follow Maddie (played by Lindsay Lohan) caught in a complex love triangle, as the man she cherishes prepares to marry her best friend.
Embracing her role as maid of honor with resignation, she travels to Ireland for the ceremony.
It’s here, on the eve of the big day, that an impromptu wish radically transforms her destiny: Maddie wakes up as the bride of tomorrow. However, she soon begins to doubt the identity of her supposed true love.
The film is enriched by outstanding performances from Jane Seymour, Elizabeth Tan, Ed Speleers, Alexander Vlahos and Ayesha Curry, who each enrich the story with their endearing, colorful characters.
Maddie, thrust into a reality as unexpected as it is enchanting, embarks on a perilous quest for true love, guided by the mysteries of the Emerald Isle.
It’s all set against a backdrop of spellbinding landscapes, with a light, sometimes clichéd atmosphere that’s sure to keep you on the couch until the end of the film.
