After Notorious, a new documentary dedicated to Conor McGregor will be released on VOD platform Netflix. Entitled“McGregor Forever“, the program will be devoted entirely to the MMA champion, and the highs and lows of his career. A much-anticipated doc to be released on Netflix this Wednesday, May 17, 2023, as we await his next fight against Michael Chandler…

A documentary dedicated to McGregor’s fight to return to the UFC

An intimate portrait of MMA’s most controversial fighter

If you’re a fan of the controversial Conor McGregor, then don’t miss out. Netflix is dedicating a documentary in four one-hour episodes to MMA’s most famous Irishman.

The documentary will be released on Netflix ahead of McGregor’s UFC return against fellow lightweight star Michael Chandler.

As a reminder, McGregor has been absent from the UFC since injuring his leg in a fight against Dustin Poirier in Las Vegas in July 2021. It was a hard blow, requiring strength and determination to bounce back and regain his place within the federation… at a time when all the prognoses were that his career was over.

For the fighter, this documentary is a way of showing his resilience and strength of character. An opportunity to retrace his entire career, from his early days to the leg injury that led him to question his future. The camera then follows him as he recovers, through convalescence and hard training, while the speculations are against him.

So, in a short clip shared on social networks by McGregor himself, we can see him lying in a hospital bed talking to the camera after breaking his leg.

He explains that even if he is thought to be finished, McGregor intends to fight to get back to his pre-injury level. For him, McGregor will always be McGregor (leading to the title of the documentary “McGregor Forever”).

The documentary intends to follow this fight, outside the octagon, as it would be in the ring. A more intimate portrait of this atypical Irishman, sympathetic but often in excess, who, despite his antics and controversies, has always demonstrated his strength of character.
