Released on November 16, the film has already met with great success, and is tipped to win awards at next year’s Venice Film Festival and the Oscars.
“We’ve always loved anthology films, especially those produced in Italy in the 60s that put the work of different directors side by side on a common theme,” said the Coen Brothers.
A subtle exercise in style, supported by an impressive cast that also includes James Franco, Tim Blake Nelson and the lovely Zoe Kazan… As for our Irish duo, this isn’t the first time Liam Neeson and Brendan Gleeson have played together.
The pair had previously starred in films such as “Michael Collins”, “Kingdom Of Heaven” and “Gangs Of New York”.
