Ridley Scott, legendary director of the “Gladiator” epic, is preparing a sequel. And the eagerly-awaited Gladiator 2 will star Irish actor Paul Mescal, best known for his role in the hit miniseries Normal People. With Mescal in the lead role and Scott’s masterful vision at the helm, the film looks set to be a winner. While details of the plot have yet to be revealed, Paul Mescal is set to play Lucius, the son of Lucilla, sister of the terrible emperor Commodus.
