Ryanair: another collision between 2 planes
Ryanair - Sean MacEntee - cc

Two planes belonging to the low-cost airline Ryanair collided on Wednesday April 1 as they left a hangar at Dublin airport. The impact was caused by the wing of one of the 2 aircraft colliding with the tail of the other.

Fortunately, there were no injuries, but the condition of both aircraft required repair. Passengers waiting at their terminals had to wait before being able to board new planes… This delay led to flight delays and discontent among passengers.

This minor accident echoes a previous one, in which 2 other Boeings slightly collided while in motion on the ground…

Fortunately, there was more fear than harm, but Dublin Airport has assured us that it is taking new measures to ensure that this type of incident cannot occur in the future. In any event, the airport staff and cabin crew demonstrated their professionalism and efficiency, enabling passengers to board their flights very quickly, without risk to their safety.
