U2 – Bono forced to interrupt concert after losing his voice

Berliners who attended the U2 concert on Saturday, September 1 were sorely disappointed… While the band was in the middle of a performance, lead singer Bono was forced to rely on his fans to sing in his place, due to a sudden loss of voice.

After a few laborious songs, the band finally decided to interrupt their concert, deeming conditions “borderline” for their leader to continue singing. a decision that left the public disappointed, despite U2’s profound apologies for the inconvenience caused to their fans.

We’re so sorry about tonight’s cancellation. Bono was in top form and his voice in excellent condition before the show, but after a few songs he suffered a complete voice extinction. We don’t know what happened, but we’re going to see a doctor.“said the group.

As a reminder, this was U2’s second and final Berlin concert on their tour.

Bono is also planning to travel to Paris to meet President Macron, and to discuss his favorite topics with him: Africa’s economic development (elimination of national debts, etc.), and above all facilitating access to medicines for Africans.
