The legendary album “The Joshua Tree”, which propelled U2 to the height of their fame, is now 30 years old! To mark the occasion, the world’s best-known Irish band has just announced plans for a giant 2017 tour to pay tribute to their album! An event that will be celebrated with all the excessiveness that Bono, The Edge and their acolytes love!
U2 have announced a gigantic tour, starting in Canada and the USA, and ending in Europe. The tour will take in some of the world’s biggest stadiums, and will feature tracks from “The Joshua Tree” album in their entirety, including the famous“With or without you” and“I still haven’t found what I’m looking for“. Selling over 25 million copies worldwide, this album was considered the biggest surprise of 1987!
As for the dates, tickets should go on sale to the general public on Monday January 16. The opportunity for you to book your tickets for the Dublin concert to be held at Croke Park (July 22, 2017), or at the Stade de France (July 25, 2017)!
