Capel Street

Capel Street is one of Dublin’s liveliest pedestrian streets! Once a place for cars to come and go, the street is now mainly pedestrianised and is gradually becoming a fashionable area, even competing with Temple Bar!

Visit Capel Street

It’s a great street to stroll down and discover some excellent addresses!

Let’s face it: Capel Street has a lot going for it! The increasingly attractive location in the north of the city is home to some of the city’s best Irish pubs and restaurants!

It’s the perfect place to enjoy a tasty brunch, an Asian dish, Moroccan couscous… or a pint in one of their cool, authentic Irish pubs!

But be warned: Capel Street may not seem as glitzy as Temple Bar, but it’s no less authentic!

Capel Street is above all a long street, rich in addresses and shops of all kinds… Life and culture are everywhere: it’s bustling with people, and contact with them is a great way to meet and discover new things!

The strength of Capel Street lies first and foremost in its cultural crossroads: the neighborhood is simply rich and cosmopolitan, offering a clever mix of genres! This is evidenced by the wide variety of stores and local Irish pubs, as well as Brazilian, Italian and Moroccan businesses…
