Downtown Tramore

On the village side, Tramore offers a maze of colorful streets lined with stores, pubs and restaurants ready to introduce you to authentic Irish gastronomy. You can sample their beers, and even try your luck with the famous “Oyster and Guinness” meal, where you can sample the best of the region’s oysters, renowned throughout County Waterford.

Tramore beaches…

In Tramore, activities are particularly geared towards the ocean: whether you like to stroll along the village’s long beaches, or try your luck in the cold waters with a dip, there’s no shortage of leisure activities! Starting with surfing, which is very popular with surfers from all over Europe. For boating enthusiasts, it’s also possible to hire a small boat (provided you have a licence), so you can discover the coast by sea: you’ll be able to admire some truly exceptional scenery!

As for walks around Tramore, don’t hesitate to take a stroll along the bay’s 5 km of beach. A real pleasure in fine weather! Children who love kites will also be delighted!
