Don’t be fooled by the size of the museum. With its 300m², the Celtic and Prehistoric Museum is a little jewel of Irish history and heritage! The quality of its collection will ensure you have a great time, and you’ll learn more about the secrets of prehistory and the Viking period.

The exhibits range from fossilized dinosaur eggs to carved stone, axes, everyday objects, sculptures, Viking jewelry, weapons, swords, copper jewelry… The exhibition is rich and covers an incredible period, from the dinosaurs to the Vikings.

The tour is documented in English, but is largely comprehensible to those who occasionally speak the language of Shakespeare.

The icing on the cake: the museum is housed in a plush, original home, which also sells Celtic-inspired handcrafted jewelry to visitors.
