The Ocean World Aquarium is the perfect rainy-day activity for the whole family! This giant aquarium, located in the heart of the coastal village of Dingle, allows you to discover large underwater species, and come face-to-face with their fearsome sharks, only separated from you by a huge glass wall! Guaranteed to thrill the little ones!

From the moment they enter, visitors are transported into an aquatic world where each aquarium reveals a scene more fascinating than the last. From wriggling jellyfish to majestic rays, each species is presented in a way that awakens curiosity and respect for the marine environment.

One of the aquarium’s star attractions remains its underwater tunnel, allowing visitors to observe marine creatures in their natural habitat at 180 degrees. This immersive experience offers a rare and enchanting perspective on ocean life.

You can also discover their new attraction: polar penguins! With their little faces, they’re full of inventive ways to entertain themselves and play between land and sea!

In addition to these two grandiose species, the aquarium also boasts an Amazonian aquarium, populated by fearsome man-eating Piranhas, catfish and other fish as curious as they are fascinating! Add to that Molly the turtle, a host of seahorses and clownfish, and you’ve got just a small taste of what Dingle’s Ocean World Aquarium has to offer! (The aquarium features over 1,000 underwater species from hundreds of different biotopes!)

And don’t miss Reservoir Touch, an aquarium where divers offer you the chance to stroke a starfish or stingray! Guaranteed thrills for kids and adults alike!

The aquarium is modern, interactive and fun for the whole family.

The facility is also committed to environmental awareness, offering workshops and presentations for all ages. These educational initiatives enrich the visit, transforming a simple outing into a valuable lesson in marine conservation.

There’s also a shop for souvenirs. You can also stop for a coffee before setting off on further Irish explorations.
