The Irish Film Institute (formerly known as the Irish Film Centre) is an art-house cinema in Dublin, which also acts as a national body supporting Irish cinema and its heritage. Don’t hesitate to push open the door: you’ll discover films of the highest quality!
The Irish Film Institute (IFI) is located in the heart of Dublin on Eustace Street.
It programs numerous festivals and retrospectives, and screens many films by independent filmmakers, both Irish and foreign. Very concerned with the quality of its programs, it takes the opposite approach to the large multiplexes and other cinemas in Dublin city center.
The institute also offers film training for the entertainment industry.
Every year, IFI rewards its audiences with open days, free screenings and special events.
