Marble Hill Beach is a large Irish beach, located in Sheephaven Bay on the north coast of County Donegal. Nestled in the bay between two promontories, Marble Hill is in a very sheltered spot, making the water relatively calm and ideal for swimming. An ideal place for a family afternoon in fine weather!

Visit Marble Hill Beach

A Blue Flag-registered beach

The beach is located in a well-preserved natural area, rich in wildlife. The sand dunes surrounding the beach are ideal for birdwatching and wildflower observation. Children are generally delighted!

Marble Hill beach has been awarded Blue Flag status, which means not only that the water is clean, but also that there are many services on offer on site, such as lifeguard services from June to September, usually from 12:00 to 18:30. You’ll find stores and restaurants in the nearby villages of Portnablagh and Dunfanaghy.

There are a few parking spaces along the beach with direct access.
