Stradbally Mountain is another mountain on the Dingle Peninsula. Situated south of the village of Castlegregory, it rises to 798 metres, and offers breathtaking views over the rest of the Peninsula. A must-see for fans of randos commandos!
Let’s face it, Stradbally Mountain is no easy ride! It requires good physical condition and excellent stamina. The gradients are quite steep, and a high level of stamina is required to climb to the summit!
In any case, the panoramic views on arrival will reward you for all your efforts, and give you an unobstructed view of the Dingle Peninsula, its coastline and other surrounding mountains. You’ll be able to make out Brandon Mountain, another mountain to the south, which rises to over 950 metres. A magnificent show in prospect!
