The Cliff Walk is a hiking trail on the Bray side of County Wicklow. The 7-kilometre stretch runs alongside the sea, offering breathtaking views of the Irish coastline. A trail that should delight walkers!
The Cliff Walk starts at the foot of Bray Head from a small, well-marked trail. The latter then meanders along the coast, regularly crossing a railroad still in operation, linking Dublin to Wicklow.
So be careful: under no circumstances should you venture onto the railway line (even if the path is quite safe, it’s better to be careful with children)!
The hiking trail winds its way 7km to Greystone harbour. Along the way, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of the sea and coastal cliffs.
You can also enjoy a breathtaking view of the railroad line, its tunnels dug into the rock, and a few vidaucs…
Walking is easy, and doesn’t require a high level of endurance. But don’t forget to pack a tent and a bottle of water for each person: in fine weather, the sun can hit you pretty hard! And above all: don’t forget your camera: you’ll be bitterly sorry if you don’t immortalize your walk!
