Visiter The Guildhall.

The Guildhall is a red-brick building in the heart of Derry. Today, it serves as the town hall and can be visited by the general public. We love its warm architecture and, above all, its magnificent stained glass windows!

Visit Derry’s Guildhall

A town hall that looks like Big Ben

Located on Derry’s medieval ramparts, the Guildhall is where it all happens! Its lively square makes it the ideal place to discover the city’s authentic bustle!

The building was donated in 1890 by the Guilds of the City of London. In fact, the clock looks exactly like Big Ben!

Inside, you can admire the sumptuous, colorful stained glass windows on the building’s main pediments. The classy interior alternates warm wood and subdued lighting.

Exhibitions are organized throughout the year by the Guildhall. Starting with a permanent exhibition presenting the history of Derry.
