If you love the festive atmosphere and pub grub, then head straight for Dublin’s Temple Bar district. At numbers 10-12, you’ll find “The Quay”, a colorful Irish pub with a whiff of Guinness, and a reputation for serving the best Coddle in town, a traditional dish that’s 100% Irish!
Here at Temple Bar, we do things simply, without fuss, and with a smile! The Quays is no exception to the rule, and offers its customers a seat in a retro pub, easy to recognize with its vintage front, all old green and yellow ceramics, and dark wood-panelled windows.
This is where you can listen to live concerts every night, while enjoying a pint and a good Irish dish! The daily program is varied, but most of the time focuses on traditional Irish music.
As for the menu, it’s pretty tempting, with coddle (the best in town), fish and chips, homemade burgers, smoked salmon, potato gratins and other typically Irish specialties. Vegan and gluten-free menus are also available.
Fast food for less than €12.50 per person on average (excluding pint). Please note that the establishment offers the “Early Bird” menu, an economical menu served between 6:00 pm and 7:00 pm only. A good plan for small budgets.
Last but not least, their drinks menu lives up to its status as an Irish pub: varied, from Irish beers to whiskey, cider and other beverages of all kinds.
