Mark Ryder

Mark Ryder is a Northern Irish actor, best known for playing the famous Cesare Borgia in the “Borgia” series. A rising star on the Northern Irish film scene, Mark Ryder is still in the early stages of his career, but he’s already showing real talent!

Mark Ryder’s career

An actor made for tortured roles

Mark Ryder was born in Northern Ireland in 1989. After studying at Methodist College in Belfast, he made his film debut in Five Minutes of Heaven, alongside Liam Neeson and James Nesbitt. The film was a hit, and Mark Ryder received critical acclaim.

Since then, the actor has played an anecdotal supporting role in Ridley Scott’s Robin Hood in 2010. But Mark Ryder’s breakthrough came in 2011, when he was cast as Cesare in the Borgia series. The series quickly catapulted him to fame, and critics praised his performance. His atypical face and verve make him an exceptional actor, capable of slipping into the skin of a character as rugged as he is ambiguous in Cesare Borgia.
