In Dublin, Christmas preparations are also under way behind the gates of St. James’s Gate. The Guinness Storehouse has unveiled its 2026 festive programme, entitled Home of Christmas Moments: decorations at the Gravity Bar, seasonal cuisine and live music will bring a different dimension to the visit. When planning an outing, however, it is important to distinguish between activities included in the usual exhibition and bookable events.
A Christmas suspended above Dublin
The Gravity Bar at the heart of the decorations
The official Christmas page announces thousands of baubles suspended in the Gravity Bar, visual references to Dublin’s streets and a large Christmas tree in the cobbled courtyard. Choirs and musical performances will punctuate the season. The programme also includes typewriter poetry and calligraphy sessions.
Food takes its place in the visit
A festive menu at the 1837 Bar & Brasserie
At the restaurant, Guinness is announcing a sharing menu featuring turkey and ham pie and a baked Alaska-style dessert. A warm spiced Guinness also features on the seasonal menu. This menu is a separate experience to check when booking; its presentation does not mean that it is included with every admission ticket.
Irish music comes to St. James’s Gate
Other Voices returns on 8 November, but is sold out
Another confirmed event sets the tone: Other Voices: Home returns on Sunday 8 November 2026. Aaron Rowe, Iceage, Cormac Begley, JayaHadADream and Quiet Light are announced, with MayKay presenting. The official website states that the event is sold out, so do not book a standard visit expecting to gain access to this concert.
How should you plan your Christmas visit?
Choose your experience before buying
The full calendar of activities and their terms were not detailed on the general page consulted on 5 November. Before paying, check your chosen date and the services included through the official ticket office. The BIGFAN and Love Tempo evenings mentioned in earlier presentations are not confirmed by the current programme and are therefore not included here.
To understand the permanent visitor experience and plan your trip, see our guide to the Guinness Storehouse. The seasonal decorations add to the discovery of the venue; your choice of ticket remains decisive in determining which experience you can access.
