Kearney Blue is easily recognized by its round, gray rind and its creamy, blue-striped melting texture. Strong in the mouth, it has salty, spicy notes.

The farm uses quality pasteurized milk from Northern Ireland, supplied by Farmview Dairies, a company that obtains its milk from a small number of local farms renowned for the care they give their herds.

Made by hand, this cheese is inspired by the best manufacturing techniques, and has been strongly influenced by French and Austrian know-how. You’ll easily find this cheese in County Down, as well as in local restaurants. It’s worth noting that some supermarkets offer them from time to time: if the opportunity arises, don’t hesitate! It’s a very popular dish with cheese lovers in general!

Don’t hesitate to ask for it: it’s no match for French cheeses!
