Recipe: Wheaten bread
Ingredients
- 50g flour
- 5g salt
- 1 cube baker’s yeast
- 80g oat flakes
- 25cl ribot milk
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 tablespoon black treacle
Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 200°C with a bowl of water inside.
- Mix the flour, salt, baking powder and rolled oats in a bowl.
- Add the honey, treacle and ribot milk.
- Knead for about 5 minutes
- Once the dough is smooth and non-sticky, create 2 dough pieces.
- Use a knife to make a cross on each dough piece.
- Decorate the top with a few cereals or oat flakes.
- Bake for 20 minutes, then cover with a clean tea towel.
- Allow to cool.
- It’s ready to enjoy!
