Recipe: Wheaten bread

Ingredients

  • 50g flour
  • 5g salt
  • 1 cube baker’s yeast
  • 80g oat flakes
  • 25cl ribot milk
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon black treacle

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 200°C with a bowl of water inside.
  • Mix the flour, salt, baking powder and rolled oats in a bowl.
  • Add the honey, treacle and ribot milk.
  • Knead for about 5 minutes
  • Once the dough is smooth and non-sticky, create 2 dough pieces.
  • Use a knife to make a cross on each dough piece.
  • Decorate the top with a few cereals or oat flakes.
  • Bake for 20 minutes, then cover with a clean tea towel.
  • Allow to cool.
  • It’s ready to enjoy!
