In Ireland, the Irish pub is more than just an establishment: it’s a veritable institution! In fact, the country is famous for having more Irish pubs per square kilometer than any other!
With this in mind, the AIB (a research and economic analysis organization based in Ireland) conducted a survey to identify the region of Ireland most “supplied” with establishments of this type. And the answer is surprising: far ahead of the rest, County Cork is the most “saturated” with Irish pubs! Far ahead of the pack, with over 955 establishments, County Cork is a long way ahead of County Dublin, which has just 772.
A surprising conclusion, which confirms just how festive and dynamic Cork can also be.
