Every year, Ireland feverishly awaits the release of its new Irish Farmers’ Calendar. An offbeat, sexy project full of cuteness, featuring the Emerald Isle’s most attractive peasants! A sort of calendar of the French Stade gods, but one which, with humor and humility, features endearing characters posing alongside rabbits, lambs and horses… Enough to make us all melt!
For the creator of the Irish farmers’ calendar, Ciara Ryan, the 2023 edition was to be the last. After starting out in 2010, the young Irishwoman felt that the formula was running out of steam.
But that was without taking into account the enormous success of the 2023 version. Many Irish people have called for a timetable for 2024. What’s more, there were countless requests from abroad: customers not only in the USA, but also in Germany, Finland, France and other parts of Europe made it known that they intended to order future editions!
Irish farmers’ 2024 calendar
Faced with the demand, Ciara had to face up to the obvious: it was imperative to sign up again for a 2024 calendar!
And now it’s done: the ever-popular Irish farmers’ calendar is back with a special edition, compiling the best shots taken over the last 13 years.
And the result is quite pleasing to the eye: it brings together shots of Irish farmers working in many different parts of Ireland, including counties such as Dublin, Cork, Kilkenny, Tipperary, Wexford and Roscommon.
Each of them poses in their farm environment, warmly hugging their farm animals… Sheep, lambs, cows, rabbits, horses… All presented with humor and tenderness, without pretension or vulgarity.
Irish farmers’ 2024 calendar
Already on sale on the official website(www.farmercalendar.com), sales have already taken off. Ciara Ryan said that the first orders were coming from all over, from Ireland and elsewhere.
So far, it’s been a treat for fans and we’re seeing new orders come in every day from all over the world,” she told Irish post.
As every year, sales are then donated to a local charity.
It’s an opportunity to do a good deed, while enjoying some pretty cool shots!
