Do you love the sea and sailing sports? The blokart is for you! Halfway between the sand yacht and the buggy as we know it, the blokart is ideal for fans of thrills and speed!
The principle of blokart is simple: race your opponents in 3-wheeled, sail-powered machines. You then have to manoeuvre them from left to right, lurching from side to side to make sure you use the full force of the wind to move forward!
The speed of these machines is mind-blowing, and will give you a real adrenalin rush!
Blokarting is mainly practiced on the beaches of Limavady, but this fashion phenomenon is set to spread rapidly to other Irish beaches. Expect to pay around 30 euros per person per hour.
Mandatory equipment is provided, including a helmet and a short half-hour training session to help you manoeuvre your machine! But be careful where you go: you’re not alone on the beach!
