Dunquin

Dunquin is a small village on the Dingle Peninsula. Right in the heart of the Gaeltacht, a region where Gaelic is still spoken, Dunquin lives to the rhythm of tourism and the tides. It’s one of those authentic places where you’ll discover what it’s really like to live in an Irish coastal village.

A village near Blasket Island

Strictly speaking, Dunquin has no tourist attractions in the heart of its village, with the exception of its amazing harbour. But its location makes it an ideal place to discover the riches of the Dingle Peninsula. Its view of the Blasket Islands makes it a prime location, not to mention its proximity to the village of Dingle.

The town center boasts a number of shops, pubs and restaurants where you can stop off between 2 explorations of the region. The welcome is warm, the facades of the houses are colorful, and the Irish love to make contact with tourists.

In short, an authentic little village!
