Lisdoonvarna

Lisdoonvarna may be a small Burren village with a population of just 739 or so, but don’t be fooled by appearances… It’s Ireland’s first spa town (since 1845), and it’s also home to the emblematic Lisdoonvarna Matchmaking Festival, an event that attracts some 40,000 people every year in search of love! Although the place lacks a touch of charm, it’s nonetheless an important stopping-off point for tourists in search of spa treatments and encounters!
