Visiter Assaranca waterfall.

The Assaranca waterfall is an Irish waterfall located 8km from Ardara (Co. Donegal) on the road to Maghera beach (a magnificent wild beach in the region that we highly recommend). Although not a must-see site, it nevertheless offers beautiful scenery and a wild waterfall whose charm changes with the seasons and the light of day.

If you love greenery and waterways, then the Assaranca waterfall is well worth a stop. It has to be said that the site is rather pretty and bucolic, and the waterfall reaches a not inconsiderable height. The show is all the more impressive for it!

The waterfall then lands in a moderately deep pool: a place that makes you want to take a dip on a hot summer’s day!

The spot is perfect for a few photos and a romantic stopover.

Please note that the site is difficult to access by car: you’ll have to walk a little to get there.
