Ballynahinch Castle is an architectural marvel! Now converted into a 4-star hotel, the building is lost amidst 450 hectares of forest, rivers and Connemara hiking trails. A magical place, well worth the detour!

Visit Ballynahinch Castle

A luxury hotel!

Ballynahinch Castle is a nineteenth-century castle that looks a bit like Kylemore Castle, don’t you think? This luxurious, but not at all pretentious hotel is an ideal HQ for lovers of comfort, great food and beautiful views.
It has to be said that the area is idyllic, allowing you to relax in a true haven of peace and tranquillity! The views from the rooms are exceptional, and include the surrounding rivers and forests, as well as the Twelve Bens, Connemara’s impressive mountain range.

Should your budget prevent you from staying overnight, the castle is well worth a visit, if only to have a look around!
