Banna Strand is a beach that can easily be reached on foot from downtown Tralee. Many an Irish family takes a walk here, summer or winter, at high or low tide, to enjoy the fresh air and even do a bit of fishing on foot!

The view is unobstructed, offering a lovely panorama of the sea and the Irish west coast. There are few rocks here: the beach is made up entirely of fine sand: great for children and demanding beach-goers!

In short, Banna Strand is sure to delight beach lovers. It’s one of the prettiest stretches of fine sand in the Kerry region!
