Connemara Smokehouse is a traditional Irish salmon smokehouse in Connemara, near Ballyconnelly, Ireland. Opened in 1979, Ballyconnelly Salmon Smokehouse is a family-run business dedicated to smoking fish.
Considered the oldest smokehouse in Connemara, it prepares salmon (farmed or wild), as well as mackerel and tuna.

And to mark the occasion, the Roberts family (owners of the smokehouse) are multiplying the processes and original, never-before-seen recipes for their fish! Smoking wood, honey marinade, herb marinade, berry marinade…etc.

Everything is delicious, and is also sold directly on the premises…

Information on how fish is smoked (using beech wood in particular), and the opportunity to taste some of the products before purchase…
