Le Delphi Pass - michael clarke stuff - cc

Delphi Pass is a mountain pass in County Mayo. It overlooks the magnificent Doo Lough, an exceptionally beautiful lake bordered by deep forests. It’s a magnificent sight that will appeal to hikers and lazy drivers alike!

Visit the Delphi Pass

A pass accessible on foot or by car

For the less athletic, the Delphi Pass is crossed from one end to the other by the R335, a road linking the town of Leenane to Killary Harbour fjord. So you won’t have to set off on an ascent on foot! Take care, however, as the road is sometimes narrow and often rough, requiring the utmost vigilance…

At its highest point, Delphi Pass offers spectacular views of the Mweelrea Mountains to the west (803 m) and Ben Gorm to the east (700 m), with Doo Lough in the background.
