Dogs Bay is a bay located near Roundstone and Errisbeg Mountain. Its neighbor is a second, equally pretty cove: Gurteen Bay.

This double bay offers fabulous beaches, where you can stroll barefoot, admire the waves and take a dip for the bravest. In summer, the setting is simply brilliant: children can make sandcastles while adults enjoy the fine weather, clear water and panoramic views.

Surfers are particularly fond of Dogs Bay, reputed to be a very good surfing spot, with its plentiful waves and opportunities.

In short, an ideal place to relax and enjoy the pleasures of the sea! Be sure to try out the 2 bays: it’s a rather rare geographical configuration in Ireland, and well worth a stroll and a few photos!
