The Museum of Literature Ireland (MoLI) is a brand new museum in Dublin, designed to pay tribute to Ireland’s enormous literary heritage. Housed in Newman House, close to Dublin’s St Stephen’s Green, this establishment celebrates Ireland’s biggest names! Open since September 21, 2019, this literary museum is the result of a collaboration between University College Dublin (UCD) and the National Library of Ireland. The aim: to exhibit literary archives and official manuscripts, to pay tribute to the great Irish writers, to offer exhibitions, writing workshops (for children and adults), public readings, discussion sessions around a work, debates, analyses, reviews… and so on.

The MoLI will also be exhibiting James Joyce’s long-awaited first manuscript of Ulysses, as well as his notebooks. These are rare and coveted objects, which the museum is determined to reveal to the general public.
