Santa’s cottage in Northern Ireland is impossible to miss. With its whitewashed walls, ashlar floors, imposing fireplace and lights, you’ll quickly feel the magic of the festive season!

This is where young and old can discover Santa Claus’ HQ. It’s a simple house, lost in the wilderness of the Mourne Mountains. Built next to an orchard and chicken coop, the cottage has the advantage of being located not far from the lakes. A perfect place if Santa wants to go fishing for trout or picking apples!

Travelers are then invited to discover the cottage, Santa’s igloo, and visit the elves’ workshop. You’ll also pass through the stable, where you’ll meet Rodolphe, Santa’s faithful reindeer! Then you’ll be invited to grab a bite to eat at the café run by Mrs. Claus!

The tour is pretty cool, but can only be done at night. It invites you to fall back into childhood. We love the festive atmosphere of the cottage, and the softness of the night lights, where fir trees, stone walls and houses are magnificently decorated. Special mention should also go to the “Meet Santa” workshop, but be warned, Santa only speaks English…

Above all, book your visit online: you’ll be able to choose your time slot, and pay online for added convenience. This will prevent you from being turned away if there are too many people there…

Whatever the case, children will be amazed: Santa’s Cottage pulls out all the stops to connect them with Santa’s world. It’s enough to keep them dreaming for a long time about the big man with the gift-laden sack!
