Every weekend, it’s the same thing. After uninstalling the stalls at the neighborhood food market, it’s time for books to take their place on the stalls at Temple Bar. And there’s something for everyone: novels, comics, short stories, educational books…etc. These books are sometimes in excellent condition, sometimes with worn, weathered covers… but they all have an added charm!
You’ll find great Irish classics, as well as foreign writers, modern novels and older publications. There’s something for everyone!

Here, people browse, discuss and debate… All in a cool, relaxed and smiling atmosphere. Admittedly, this type of market is not necessarily suitable for people who don’t speak the language of Shakespeare. The Book Market, however, is a typical bohemian market that brings a touch of authenticity to the Temple Bar district.
