Whiterocks is certainly one of the most beautiful beaches in Northern Ireland! Sensational, it’s huge, and made up entirely of sparkling fine sand! And to top it all off, Dunluce Castle towers majestically over it from the top of its cliffs!

Visit Whiterocks beach

A huge beach!

Whiterocks is a beach in Portrush, Northern Ireland. Imposing, it boasts vast stretches of sand, in stark contrast to its white limestone cliffs.

The area is ideal for water activities (swimming, surfing…), hiking, or for a bit of fishing on foot, tide permitting.

Take a stroll around Dunluce Caste: this 13th-century clifftop castle overlooks the beach, offering unrivalled panoramic views!

Definitely one of our favourite beaches!
