Like the first “Vikings” opus, the Vikings: Valhalla series was filmed in Ireland, at Ashford Studios in County Wicklow, Republic of Ireland.

The production uses the same locations as the first series, and still films the village of Kattegat using landscapes from the Wicklow Mountains National Park.
