Donald Trump was scheduled to visit Ireland in November for an official trip. However, the White House has just canceled the plan, citing scheduling conflicts.

This visit would have been Donald Trump’s very first to Ireland as Head of State. It was planned to include a meeting with the Irish Prime Minister, exploring Dublin, and visiting the Doonbeg golf course on Ireland’s east coast, which the American president owns.

The Ireland trip was part of a broader itinerary, with Trump also expected to travel to Paris for the November 11 commemorations. He has decided to attend the Paris event, unlike his planned stop in Ireland.

Initially, the visit sparked controversy in Ireland: the president’s controversial reputation did not fully resonate with the Irish public.

Local groups had announced their intention to organize protests during the president’s visit as a way to express opposition to Donald Trump’s often criticized and divisive policies.

No new date has been set to reschedule this visit.

Nevertheless, the Irish Prime Minister has stated that Trump will be welcome and will be received according to the established protocol.
