Recipe: Irish roasted salmon

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Irish whiskey
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • 2 tablespoons chopped thyme
  • zest of one organic lemon
  • 5 Irish salmon steaks
  • salt
  • pepper

Preparation

  • In a bowl, combine the honey, vinegar, whiskey, oil, thyme and zest.
  • Mix, adding a little salt and pepper.
  • Place the salmon steaks in the bowl and brush them with the marinade.
  • Chill for 4 hours.
  • Preheat your oven to 220°C once the time limit has passed.
  • Place the salmon in the oven for 12 minutes, basting occasionally with the remaining marinade.
  • Serve hot! Enjoy your meal!
