After his visit to the United Kingdom, U.S. President Donald Trump set foot in Dublin, Ireland, on June 5, 2019. This visit reportedly allowed him to meet Leo Varadkar (Irish Prime Minister) and discuss the Brexit issue.
True to himself, the American president reportedly kept making “gaffes,” suggesting that the Republic of Ireland belonged to the United Kingdom, or comparing “the border” between Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland to the wall separating the United States from Mexico.
A courteous but delicate visit, which apparently did not sit well with the Irish public. As a result, a blimp shaped like Baby Donald Trump appeared in the Dublin sky. The blimp depicted him in a diaper, grimacing with a displeased eye.
This was an opportunity for some Irish people to protest the visit during an organized demonstration.

An anti-Trump protest
The 6-meter-high blimp, already famous (having been used in protests in London), appeared over the Garden of Remembrance at Parnell Square during a demonstration scheduled for 6 p.m. The blimp helped protesters gain attention with their striking balloon.
It’s worth noting that the setup required significant effort. The blimp had to be transported from the UK to Dublin, and special permission was obtained from the Irish Aviation Authority (IAA) to operate it. Clearly, the project made a strong impact!
