Ballycastle

Ballycastle is a town in Northern Ireland, located in County Antrim. Situated at the extreme north of the Northern Irish Province, the town is a superb starting point to explore the surroundings. It must be said that the town has many points of interest nearby, including beaches, cliffs, and ruins…

Visiting Ballycastle

The epicenter of many must-see tourist spots

Ballycastle is a village lost in the wild Northern Irish nature. This is evidenced by its many tourist sites of interest, which will allow you to dive into absolutely magnificent deserted and desolate expanses!

Thus, one literally falls for the grave charm of Fair Head, a strange local cliff (famous for having served as a filming location for the Game of Thrones series… a place flown over by Daenerys’ dragons). The cliff is magnificent, hosts 2 lakes, and overlooks the sea. Simply magical and grandiose!

If you have a car or a bike, do not hesitate to try the Torr Head Scenic Road circuit. This road will take you past some of the most beautiful coastal landscapes in Northern Ireland!

Add to that the discovery of the Kinbane Peninsula, its ruined castle… and you can visit White Park Bay: a wild cove that will allow you to walk barefoot on the sand at low tide!
