Visit Bushmill

An ideal location for discovering whiskey and the wonders of the Northern Irish coastline

Bushmills is a small town of 1,400 inhabitants. Situated not far from the Atlantic Ocean, it has become an almost obligatory stopover on the Northern Ireland Coastal Route (a popular circuit for travellers and seascape lovers).

The village is best known for its whisky-making expertise (Bushmills). The Old Bushmills Distillery is home to one of the largest distilleries in the country. The Old Bushmills Distillery is open to visitors, and will reveal the secrets of their ancestral beverage to you with humor and gusto!

After your visit, don’t hesitate to stroll through the town’s streets. You’ll discover a simple, warm atmosphere, focused on human interaction and exchange. Don’t hesitate to push open the door of one of their pubs or restaurants: they’re a real treat. You’ll have a great time!

Finally, don’t hesitate to venture a little further afield to admire the sumptuous Giant’s Causeway. It’s a spectacular sight: over 40,000 octagonal basalt columns rise up to form a kind of giant pavement. A unique geological phenomenon, the result of millions of years of erosion.

Millions of visitors flock to see it every year! It’s even listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site: quite a program!

And don’t forget to visit the impressive ruined Dunluce Castle: built on a cliff, it offers a fascinating view of the ocean. Its charm has survived the test of time, transporting you back to the Irish Middle Ages, between territorial wars and epic sieges! A magical, timeless place.
