Visit Ballymalis Castle

A 16th-century castle

Ballymalis Castle was built in the 16th century by the Irish O’Moriartys clan. Renovated less than 100 years later by the Ferris family, the manor eventually passed to the Eager family, who maintained it until the 19th century.

Now entrusted to the Irish state, the castle is now open to visitors, giving them an insight into the medieval world of the time. You can admire this impressive rectangular tower and discover its key features.

A beautiful castle, lost in a magnificent landscape!
