Visit Armagh’s St Patrick’s Cathedral

A Catholic cathedral built between 1840 and 1904

Armagh’s St Patrick’s Cathedral is the seat of the Catholic Archbishop of Armagh. The building was erected on a small hill in the town of Armagh, and is still in use today.

Its Gothic architecture is well worth a visit, as are its stained glass windows and the countless sculptures inside the central nave… The architecture is massive and most impressive, with its sparkling white hues and refined neo-Gothic style…

The building is free to visit, as long as you’re discreet and avoid camera flashes.
