After all, it was here, in the Linen Mills studios, that the series was based. Although the show has been filmed in a number of countries (including Spain and Croatia), the series has always kept its feet firmly planted in Northern Ireland… and has even made a few outdoor jaunts on Northern Irish soil! Dunluce Castle, Dark Hedges Lane and Ward Castle were used for some scenes.
