Shopping alleys in Belfast’s Victoria Square – William Murphy – cc
Victoria Square is set in an ultra-modern, trendy setting, as famous for its prestigious boutiques as for its ambitious architectural design.
Here, the building is made of metal and glass, and can take on an almost fairytale-like appearance at Christmas time with its central spiral column!
The stores here are superb, with elegant, inviting windows spread over 4 levels. A great place to spend a rainy afternoon!
LK Bennett and Apple are just a few of the big-name stores on the site. You’ll be spoilt for choice, with fashion, technology, cosmetics and food stores to choose from! And don’t forget the cafés and bakeries, where you can take a break between 2 shopping sprees!
The show also takes place at the top of Victoria Square. The shopping center features a glass dome, offering a 360-degree view of Belfast.
A visit to the dome is free and offers spectacular views over the city’s rooftops. TheAlbert Clock Tower is easily visible, as is Belfast City Hall. On a clear day, you can also see the Lagan River and the Mourne Mountains.
